Postpartum:
Return to Exercise Workshop
In this 1-hour workshop, pelvic floor physical therapist and owner of Pelvic Therapy and Fitness, Sapna Parikh Patel, will guide participants through a 45-minute movement practice to prepare folks to safely return to a fitness routine post-birth. The focus of the workshop will be strength building, core work, and dynamic movement.
A 15-minute Q+A session with Sapna will conclude the workshop, so bring any and all burning questions to this fun group learning experience.
Please wear comfortable clothes, allowing for easy movement, and a yoga mat. Resistance bands will be provided.
This workshop meets in-person at Burr Ridge Birth Center and is recommended for folks 6-weeks to 2 years postpartum.
A maximum of 12 participants can register with a $10 donation to Chicago South Side Birth Center.
