Madeline Wrzeciona - Clinic Coordinator

Madeline (she/her) was born and raised in the Chicagoland area. Ever since she was a young child, she has been fascinated by all things babies and birth. Her first aspiration, as documented by her Preschool Yearbook, was to be “a baby doctor”. While that did not come true, she is unfortunately not skilled in math or science, she found a way into the birth world as Burr Ridge Birth Center’s Clinic Coordinator!

Madeline attended Elmhurst University and obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Intercultural Studies with a background in Social Work and Sociology. She has always been passionate about helping others and creating a welcoming space for all. Empathy is the most cherished value that Madeline holds. No matter the day, week, or month you are having, you can always feel welcome to come as you are to the Birth Center. As a former substitute teacher and youth group leader, she is skilled at remembering names and faces, so you are sure to always be greeted warmly whether it’s your first visit or your fiftieth!

Outside of the clinic, she can be found in the Dunkin Donuts drive-thru getting an Iced Coffee, at a concert with her partner Vince, posting on her food blog about the newest restaurant that she has tried, cuddling her adorable tortoiseshell cat Chloe, or yelling at the TV while watching 90 Day Fiance.

“To empathize with someone’s experience, you must be willing to believe them as they see it and not how you imagine their experience to be.” - Brene Brown.
